Product description
Pfetin (KCTD12, potassium channel tetramerization domain containing was originally discovered in fetal cochlea. Pfetin contains a putative potassium channel domain, and regulates GAVA (B) receptor signaling. Association of pfetin expression with favorable prognosis in gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) was discovered by proteomics. The prognostic values of pfetin were validated in hundreds of GIST cases in multiple cohorts by immunohistochemistry.
