PanPath B.V. is a privately owned company founded by scientists with a background in pathology and molecular biology. This knowledge is combined with a broad experience in the environment of commercial companies active in antibodies, detection systems and molecular biology. PanPath B.V. is based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The company was founded in 2002 and started with the introduction of the REMBRANDT® product group.

About PanPath

The REMBRANDT® series comprise complete in situ hybridization (ISH) and Detection kits for histopathology, cytology and microbiology. The REMBRANDT® series have been designed for the cost-effective processing of paraffin embedded tissue sections, cytological specimens and frozen sections to detect DNA and RNA by using the ISH technique.

REMBRANDT® complete kits

These products comprise complete kits for the detection of pan Human papilloma virus (HPV screening), HPV typing, Cytomegalo virus (CMV), Herpes simplex virus (HSV) 1/2, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), Epstein-Barr encoded small mRNA's (EBER) and kappa/lambda light chain mRNA's. All probes are available with either biotin or digoxigenin as choice of probe label and are available with either an alkaline phosphatase (AP)/NBT-BCIP or horseradish-peroxidase (HRP)/AEC enzyme, substrate, chromogen combination, for your choice of detection.

BIO-AP: Biotin labelled probes combined with AP and NBT/BCIP detection

BIO-HRP: Biotin labelled probes combined with HRP an AEC detection

DIG-AP: Digoxigenin labelled probes combined with AP and NBT/BCIP detection

DIG-HRP: Digoxigenin labelled probes combined with HRP and AEC detection

Building Blocks

For those researchers who prefer to use PanPath's products in their own specific research settings, PanPath offers the opportunity to obtain the specific components of the REMBRANDT® kits separately. The complete kits have been designed like a building block structure, which enables the availability of all parts and separate components of the complete kits, maintaining the ease of use of optimized ready to use supplementary reagents. Also a wide range of compatible biotin or digoxigenin labelled DNA and RNA probes are available.
