Microglia, one of the glial cell types in the central nervous system (CNS), is an important integral component of the neutro-glial cell network. They have been observed in the brain parenchyma from the early stage of development to the mature state. Microglia play an important role in brain immune serveillance.

Rat Microglia from CD1 (Cat# SCCR1900)
RM are isolated from postnatal day 2 CD IGS rat brain. RM are cryopreserved after purification and delivered frozen. RM are characterized by immunofluorescence with antibody to F4/80.

Microglia Medium CD1 (Cat# SCC1901)
A sterile, liquid, complete medium which contains essential and non-essential amino acids, vitamins, organic and inorganic compounds, hormones, growth factors, trace minerals and a low concentration of fetal bovine serum (5%).
