2-Fluoroadenine is a heterocyclic building block that has been used in the synthesis of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90) inhibitors that have anticancer activity in vitro.{46971} It is also cytotoxic to CEM human leukemia cells with an IC50 value of 0.15 uM.{46972}
