BIOREBA was the first company worldwide to produce and commercialize ELISA reagents for plant virus diagnostics in 1980. It is an independent company that was started in close collaboration with the Swiss Federal Research Station for Plant Production at Changins (RAC), Nyon, Switzerland. Since then, BIOREBA has established cooperations with many other research institutes, universities and private companies in Switzerland and several other countries. Since its foundation over two decades ago, the company has steadily grown and built a reputation for high quality.
Today, the research community and diagnostic laboratories around the world rely on their products. BIOREBA develops and produces reagents for the detection of plant pathogens (viruses, bacteria, fungi and phytoplasma) and also provides special equipment and disposables for the preparation of plant samples and liquid handling.
