Belgian Society for Human Genetics
18th Annual meeting of the Belgian Society of Human Genetics:
"The epigenome in development and disease"
The meeting brings together an international roster of invited speakers, who will bring us up to date on the latest advances in human genetics. Topics are wide-ranging: from inherited genetic variations that predispose to human diseases, to models, mechanisms and consequences of somatic mutations.
Confirmed Invited Speakers:
- Denes Hnisz (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, USA)
- José Luis Gómez-Skarmeta (University Pablo de Olavide, Sevilla, Spain)
- Axel Visel (Berkeley Lab, Berkeley, USA)
- Silvere van der Maarel (Leiden University Medical Center, Leiden, Netherlands)
The objective of BeSHG is to provide a forum for the numerous specialities involved in genetics: nurses, genetic counsellors, clinical geneticists and molecular biologists, to interact, build networks, and share their unique perspectives.
